Emily leads the institutional design, development and implementation of training and support programs for Principal Investigators and research leaders at the University of Edinburgh, collaboration with researchers, professional services, and senior leadership to ensure that these programs are visible, relevant, and tailored to address the essential needs and fill critical gaps in research leadership.

Emily is an experienced trainer, facilitator, and certified coach with over a decade of experience across academia, research, and Higher Education. She specialises in research leadership development, leadership coaching, and supporting researchers in complex interdisciplinary research contexts. I am passionate about cultivating research environments that empower researchers to conduct outstanding research and fulfill their potential as research leaders, developing and supporting individuals and teams to thrive.
