Researcher Development webpages RemitThe Researcher Development team provides direct support for researchers at all career stages through training, resources, networks, and advice, to enable effective researcher practice, build communities, and provide expertise and support for local and institutional initiatives to enhance research cultures. We provide personal, professional and career development support for our research staff community through workshops, courses, online resources, networks, advice, mentoring and coaching. This includes dedicated careers support through workshops, 1:1 consultations, resources, employer events, Narrative CV training, an annual Careers Month, and outreach at research staff society events. We also provide training and support for Principal Investigators and research leaders through programmes, workshops, coaching, consultations and online resources, with a focus on personal effectiveness, leading people and teams, leading in complexity, and building positive research environments.You can find information on workshops, events and news on our webpages. Researcher Development WebpagesConcordat The Researcher Development team also leads the University’s implementation of the Concordat to Support the Career Development of Researchers. The Concordat is a national agreement to improve employment and support for researchers and their careers in the UK, with a strong focus on creating a positive research culture and environment in which researchers can thrive.
