Duncan Yellowlees

Founder of DY Training, Duncan has spent 8 years helping Research Staff  discover they don't need to choose between credibility and personality, that talks don’t have to be dull to be effective, and that connecting to audiences is more important than being perfect. 

The mission (should you choose to accept it) is supporting brilliant people to find confidence, while helping research culture become more creative, engaging and connected.  

Duncan heads a team expert in communication who have backgrounds in physical sciences, museums and informal learning.  

We’ve done coaching, facilitation, lectures, theatre, planetariums, set fire to things, told stories, and generally learnt a huge amount about what it takes to get people interested in what you've got to say. All this and more is what we bring to our workshops.*
