Nicola Cuthbert

I manage a programme of training and support for research staff at the University of Edinburgh, including careers support and mentoring. I oversee the University’s Research Staff Hub and manage the institutional action plan and reporting for the Concordat to Support the Career Development of Researchers.  

I work with colleagues across the University to ensure the Concordat is part of how the University supports research staff, and chair the Concordat Implementation Group. I also collaborate on a mentoring and job-shadowing programme for technicians across Edinburgh, and work with research staff societies and postdoc/research staff champion networks.

I am a member of a range of internal committees and external Scottish and UK researcher development networks.
