Squiggly careers and your options

What you'll do
The purpose of this workshop for research staff, is to enhance your confidence in managing your career in response to all events, planned and unplanned, and to respond to your own needs as your professional motivations and personal priorities change through life. Participants will learn how to navigate squiggly careers by applying their research skills and creativity to ask helpful questions, gather data to inform decision-making, cope with uncertainty, and adapt to the unexpected.

Who it's for
Research staff and teaching staff on fixed term contracts and academic staff on open-ended contracts with review dates (OERD).
This session is not open to academic staff on open-ended lecturing contracts.

This workshop is designed to support research staff in managing change across their careers and responding to shifts in their professional motivations and personal priorities over time.
