Research Leader Programme The Research Leader Programme (RLP) at the University of Edinburgh is designed for new Principal Investigators and emerging research leaders, focusing on establishing positive research cultures and effective team management. It targets University of Edinburgh research fellows and newly appointed academic staff leading teams for the first time. The programme offers a mix of leadership theory and peer learning, covering topics such as leadership approaches, team dynamics, and strategic research development. Participants will gain practical skills to support research team and individual development within the higher education sector.Applications for the RLP in semester two will open on 15 March - 2 April 2027.
