The scheme operates through three distinct funding streams: Medically qualified scientists should apply to The Academy of Medical Scientists Starter Grants for Clinical Lecturers. Basic scientists should apply to either The Academy of Medical Scientists Springboard for Biomedical Scientists or the Diabetes UK Early Career Small Grant.
